The School is the sole teaching department for obstetrics and gynaecology.
Our aim is to produce graduates who have essential core knowledge, skills and abilities to provide basic, appropriate and sensitive, collaborative care for women with a range of health, illness and disease presentations.
The course needs to be supplemented by postgraduate education in obstetrics and gynaecology as part of their training for general practice or specialist obstetric and gynaecology practice.
The Bachelor of Medicine is a six-year full time professional degree course.
